Tourism Committee


To act as a facilitator between the various tourism organizations and groups in the region. Our main mission is to maintain an active dialogue to ensure all parties are working together for the best interest of this vital industry. This committee is exploring additional opportunities to expand the involvement of the Chamber with tourism efforts.

Economic Development Committee


To monitor and encourage regional economic development. To facilitate positive cooperation among town boards and the business community. To be an advocate for the business community on issues of common interest. The efforts of the Committee have brought about several significant changes to improve economic growth and stability.

Business Education Collaborative


Through education, networking, and workforce development the committee seeks to support the growth and sustainability of our members’ businesses and organizations. We collaborate with internal and external agencies whose services and connections support the human resource, educational training, and strategic planning needs of our members.

Membership Committee


To act as mentors to new Chamber Members. To enlarge & retain the membership of the Chamber. To provide customer service to existing Members & encourage their involvement.

Government Affairs Committee

The Plymouth Area Chamber of Commerce Government Affairs Committee will serve to educate members on political and legislative issues at both the state and local level, which may be of importance to the Chamber and its members.

Veteran Affairs Committee


To support local Veteran Entrepreneurs and existing Veteran owned businesses with support services and specialized opportunities/programs available.  To create partnerships with other Veteran organizations to facilitate assistance to local veterans.

Marketing Committee


To develop marketing strategies to keep the Chamber updated on trends, new initiatives and current business practices in relation to public relations, marketing and branding for the promotion of the Chamber and its members.
