The Kingston Business Association was founded in 2015 with the intent to help those who live or work in the Town of Kingston, MA. Our goal is to help increase business awareness and foster a sense of community within the town.

Kingston Business Association Mission:

Promote, Represent, and Protect the Common Interests of, and Improve Business Conditions Among All Kingston Massachusetts Businesses.

Our Organization is Built Upon the Four Pillars

Provide: a forum for the exchange of ideas to improve business policies among its members.

Encourage: integrity, good faith, and lend guidance in all aspects of good customer relationships

Serve: as a vehicle for joint promotional events that create local support and will benefit Kingston and Kingston businesses

Support: town and state legislation and governmental policies that streamline process and promote new businesses in Kingston

Active members of the Kingston Business Association are eligible to:

  • Join the Plymouth Area Chamber at 2018-19 rates
  • Attend and participate in all Plymouth Area Chamber programs and events at member cost
  • Register for all Plymouth Area Chamber workshops and seminars at member cost
  • Advertise in all Plymouth Area Chamber publications and electronic communications at member rates.

 

Duxbury Business Association

The purpose of the Duxbury Business Association is to improve business conditions in the town of Duxbury.

The Association is open to all who wish to join with the only criteria being that members either live or have their businesses situated in Duxbury.

Activities include monthly membership meetings hosted by members. We also host a Holly Days event in November.

The Business Education Center provides one on one counseling for small business owners with existing businesses or assistance for budding entrepreneurs with dreams of small business ownership. We offer group small business workshops and programs that can help any type of business or organization.

Many of these programs are free of charge.

Our professional development workshops in partnership with local colleges and state and local agencies cover the latest cutting edge topics.

Small Business services at the Plymouth Area Business/Education Center are delivered in various formats and by multiple agencies and partners. The Business Education Center partners with local, state and federal agencies as well as with higher education facilities and industry professionals. All of our counselors and presenters are seasoned professionals who have years of experience in the public and private sectors dealing with small business issues.

Whatever your small business need, we have the right person to assist or the program for your business needs. For the most part, many of our services and programs are delivered FREE OF CHARGE.   • FREE, Small Business Counseling

FREE Small Business counseling is offered each week by our partners at SCORE (the Service Core of Retired Executives) and MSBDC (the Massachusetts Small Business Development Center Network). Each organization has professional staff ready to help with your specific needs. Call for an appointment today.

  • FREE, Small Business Workshops

  • VETERANS BUSINESS PROGRAMS

If you’re a returning gulf war veteran or a veteran from a prior conflict looking to open your own small business or enhance an existing business we have the programs to help you make your small business a success. Many programs are tailored to veteran owned businesses. Need financing for your veteran owned business? The SBA has the Patriot Loan Program to finance your venture.

  • BUSINESS & CORPORATE EDUCATION PROGRAMS

The Business/Education Center has a close relationship with local higher education facilities that provide certificate and non certificate programming for your small business needs. Many of these programs are conveniently held right at our Business/Education Center classrooms.

  • ACCESS TO STATE PROGRAMS & INCENTIVES

The Business/Education Center programs are partially funded by the Commonwealths Office of Small Business and Entrepreneurship. In addition to that we have strategic partnerships with many state agencies which facilitate programs on all aspects of development from housing to commercial tax incentives.   • IMPORTING & EXPORTING ASSISTANCE

Importing and exporting are exciting ventures yet often intimidating to many small business firms.
